Cherry Blossoms, Tokyo | お花見、東京

The day before yesterday, I headed to Chidorigafuchi 千鳥ヶ淵, a park beside a moat that surrounds the Imperial Palace, a short walk from Hanzōmon Station. My friend Izumi had suggested I go for hanami, or cherry blossom viewing, which is taking place all week in Tokyo and other cities. Canopied by pale pink Yoshino cherry blossoms, I was able to catch them in full bloom during my first spring in Japan.

Did you see cherry blossoms in your city? お花見にいらっしゃいましたか?Feel free to share your comments below. コメントがありましたら、下にお書き下さい。
